CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Earlier today at a press conference, Senior Advocate and Dakha constituency candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party, HS Phoolka, along with Arvind Kejriwal publicized the copy of Justice Zora Singh report. “Akali Dal purposely sat on this report and never publicized it knowing that it would hurt their chances ahead of the 2017 elections,” HS Phoolka told the media.
In the press conference, HS Phoolka quoted the commission report, “The commission finds that the “big” people were responsible for the police firing at Katkapoora that claimed lives of two innocent Sikhs, who were peacefully sitting.”
“The incident was deliberately carried by the Badal Government in order to cause great chaos in Punjab,” HS Phoolka added.
“If both victims were in sitting commission, what caused the police officers to fire at them? And that too, at close contact. This is beyond comprehension. More so, both victims were unarmed,” Justice Zora Singh report states.
“There is no serious indictment of the Punjab Government than this,” HS Phoolka said as he said that the Akali Dal purposely hid the report from public.
“There is no doubt that the Government, as well as its leaders were involved in carry out murders of Sikh youth,” HS Phoolka said.
“The report was finalized several months ago, however it was purposely kept hidden by the Akalis. Role of Sukhbir Badal in killings of innocent Sikhs is clear from this report,” said Arvind Kejriwal. “Punjab police claims that the firing took place in self-defense, however this is completely refuted in the Justice Zora Singh report. Police fired upon innocents.”
Prosecute the police who carried out/ and who do carry out/ their duties, knowing they were in the wrong. Let the police then sue the other departments who gave them wrong instructions. Every one has to be responsible for their actions. No one can delegate anyone, in authority or not, to commit an action contrary to their scope of legal duty.
Yes Lets see this report – although it may be all made up or hiding it would open a can of worms for the Badals before election…..
