Avtar Singh Makkar’s son passes away due to cardiac arrest

LUDHIANA, Punjab—Manvinder Singh Makkar, son of former SGPC President Avtar Singh Makkar passed away in the late night of February 2 due to cardiac arrest. He was 47 years old and was member of the Youth Akali Dal (YAD).

 

Manvinder Singh Makkar was Municipal Councilor from ward No. 48. His dead body was cremated at Model Town cremation ground on today. His sudden demise has shocked SAD leaders.

Avtar Singh Makkar’s younger son Tejinderpal Singh Soni had died in October 2013 while undergoing treatment at PGI Chandigarh.

Soni was aged 37 when he passed away while was undergoing treatment at the PGI Hospital in Chandigarh due to liver failure.

As per doctor reports, Tejinderpal had developed a liver infection and was seeking treatment in Chandigarh where he passed away.  Soni’s condition had deteriorated over the past few days and a special team of doctors were overseeing the task of his treatment.  Sikh24 has been told that Soni was undergoing treatment for liver cirrhosis.

    I believe Sir Makkar lost his other son also.
    We should not take every thing at face value .
    We live in a very wicked and a violent world.
