The Chief Minister of Delhi Sri Arvind Kejriwal had come to Tarn Taran to support the election campaign of AAP candidate Kartar Singh Pehalwan and pay obeisance. His supporters allegedly took out a ‘Siropao’ from Gurdwara’s holdings without any permission and honoured him. A ‘Siropao’ is a robe of honour, which is a sign of recognition from the Sikh Panth of a noble cause or effort by an individual.
Prof. Badungar added that as a Chief Minister of Delhi Sri Arvind Kejriwal ought to be aware that violation of a code of conduct of a religious place was not acceptable at all. He said that Sri Arvind Kejriwal and his supporters have hurt Sikh sentiments for which they should apologize.
He further said that the decision of honouring someone with ‘Siropao’ falls upon the management of Gurdwara Sahib but by violating this tradition, Kejriwal & his companion have behaved immorally.
neither badal nor Arvind deserve Siropa ji, as both are not sincere supporters of Sikh interests_/\_

The SGPC might have some credibility with their ‘outrage’ if they weren’t the very same organisation who tried hypocritically to punish an Ardasia at Darbar Sahib for refusing to put a saropa around Sukhbir Badal’s neck.
