JALALABAD, Punjab—Ending speculations about changing his constituency, the Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal today lodged nominations before the Election Commission from his home ground, Jalalabad. A visit to Fatehgarh Sahib yesterday has garnered suspicions of Sukhbir Badal changing constituencies.
In a status updated via Facebook page on 7 pm, the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal President, Sukhbir Badal shared the development of nominating himself from the Jalalabad assembly constituency.
He has appealed to the residents of Jalalabad to rubber stamp development work done by his government during the last 10 years.
Indirectly pointing towards his AAP rival from Jalalabad constituency Bhagwant Mann, Sukhbir has said that neither development nor employment could be addressed in the state by delivering jokes on stages. He has appealed to common masses to oust miscreants from Punjab who were disturbing the communal harmony in the state.
Seeking support from Jalalabad constituents, Sukhbir Badal has said that for being a President of Shiromani Akali Dal he would have to attend nominations of various candidates across the state due to which he would be able to spend on 2-4 days in Jalalabad.
Sukhloser badal was attacked by the common people of Punjab… no one likes the badals.
