PATNA SAHIB, Bihar, India—Jathedar of Takht Sri Patna Sahib, Giani Iqbal Singh has sent a written message to the Punjab based Takht Jathedars to stay away from the commemoratory programs celebrating the 350th birth anniversary of tenth Sikh master Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib, Patna. It is learnt that Giani Iqbal Singh cited security reasons as the readon for suggesting they not attend the programs.
Reacting sharply to Giani Iqbal Singh’s suggestion, the SGPC appointed Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Giani Gurmukh Singh has said that Giani Iqbal Singh was only making this claim due to having a personal rivalry with him. He claimed that Giani Iqbal Singh had strong relations with Satnam Singh Pipli Wala so he is taking a form of revenge against Gurmukh Singh for taking a heavy stance against Pipli Wala for using objectionable language about Mata Gujar Kaur Ji.
Meanwhile, the SGPC appointed Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Gurbachan Singh has said that he will attend the commemoratory programs at Takht Sri Patna Sahib under any circumstances.
Great respect to Jathedar of Takht Sri Patna Sahib, Giani Iqbal Singh — A true Sikh….keeping Badal calprits out of respectful place. A true Sikh is always fight to protect human being as well as to protect their rights. These jathedars are not welcomed by Sikh Community and are not selected by Sikh Community. They are there only because of Badal……….they will be in Jail very soon.

Who is this person telling who can and cannot come to a gurdwara. But again he is not a Sikh himself as he doesn’t follow the order of Guru Gobind Singh ji who in no uncertain terms told us who our Guru is ? which is ” Aad Guru Granth Sahib Ji” and not a book compiled by mortals like ?
