JAMMU & KASHMIR— Amid insurgency in the territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a Sikh society named ‘Guru Manyo Granth Society’ asked the State and Union government to take the appropriate steps to ensure the security of minorities living in the valley.
Asking for special employment and a financial package for the minorities falling victim, President Rinku Singh said that the minorities were enduring loss in every condition. He said that if they don’t join the Kashmiris while protesting against the Indian paramilitary forces then they target them. But if they join the protests, the Paramilitary forces target them.
“We want the state and the central governments to take adequate security measures for various minorities living here. We are all easy targets,” Rinku Singh told Sikh24.
“If we stand with protesters, we are targetted by the police, and if we stand against the mob, they target us,” Rinku Singh told Sikh24.
“Our businesses have been worst affected by the ongoing turmoil. The economy has greatly affected us,” he said. “We want a comprehensive reform for the minorities.”
The law of the land is clear , Kill the innocent, protect the guilty life of minorities has no value, if this is your concept of justice and nation, may god bless you.
We don’t have to fight any one.

It is not difficult time of all faiths It is the discriminatory policies of the so called secular govt for the last sixty years in which over 100000 persons killed countless rapes and disappearances and to top it all the promise by the so called leader of India Nehru to people of Kashmir that they have the right to choose ( we will have plebiscite). What is happening now is the direct result of not keeping your word.That has been the norm of the this majority which happens to be Hindu. Remember what they promised the Sikhs in their resolutions before partition to get the support of Sikhs. and you know what Sikhs got. As far as Sikhs are concerned in present situation in Kashmir which side you want them to fight for ?
How can one defend themselves reading what Rinku Singh said – should not the authorities be protecting the minorities – is the Government capable of doing anything else other than killing the innocent
Defend your self and don’t get caught in the cross fire.
For Sikhs to defend themselves you will have let them keep their kirpans instead of sending police officers around to their houses to disarm them as in Delhi 1984 and we all know how much you despise the five kakkars of Sikh identity.
It is difficult times for. the Kashmiri People of all faiths.
The centre and state govt need to restore peace in valley so that all people can live without fear.
No one should be allowed to break the law of the land.
