JALANDHAR, Punjab—Interacting with the press in Jalandhar earlire today, Aam Aadmi Party’s state convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur continued to express distress over nominations by AAP ahead of 2017 elections.  Chhotepur said that it would be difficult for AAP to dominate in 2017’s assembly polls if the core leadership will continue to ignore the local volunteers and leaders.

Sucha Singh Chhotepur is having differences with party’s choice of candidates for assembly as he feels the hard working volunteers have been ignored.

Chhotepur said that though the common masses of Punjab are speculating AAP as upcoming ruling party in Punjab but it won’t be easy for AAP to crack the polls. He added that the Shiromani Akali Dal and Congress are established parties in Punjab and it was really a tough challenge for AAP to compete against them especially when AAP had limited resources.

Giving clarification about his absence in the announcement of candidate lists by AAP, Chhotepur said that he wasn’t informed while publicizing the candidate list.  “I was only conveyed the message of holding press conference,” he added.

Commenting on the Navjot Sidhu’s expected entry to AAP fold, Chhotepur said that his inclusion will strength up the party. He clarified that he wasn’t not in run of CM face.
