AMRITSAR SAHIB—The martyrdom anniversary of the Sikh warrior Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was observed by the SGPC at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall on June 24th. Following the culmination of the Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Hazoori Ragi Bhai Jabartod Singh performed Kirtan and Bhai Baljodh Singh read ‘Hukamnama’ (sacred order) on this occasion.
Addressing the Sikh devotees on this occasion, Dr. Roop Singh said that Baba Banda Singh Bahadur didn’t give up his stance even until his last breathe. He appealed to the Sikh devotees to get baptized and live their lives taking inspiration from the life values of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.
Additional, Secretary Bijay Singh, Manager Sulakhan Singh, Skattar Singh, Balwinder Singh, Harjinder Singh, Sukhraj Singh, Baghel Singh, Lakhbir Singh, Karanjit Singh, Nirvail Singh, Gurinderpal Singh, and Maninder Mohan Singh were present on this occasion.
