HSGPC And Retired Army Officers Ask President to Clarify Non-Inclusion Of Sikhs In Republic Day Parade

Sikh_Light_InfantryCHANDIGARH, Punjab—At the call of the President of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee, S. Jagdish Singh Jhinda, retired Army officers and soldiers have written a letter to the President of India Sri Pranab Mukherjee asking him to clarify the reason for the non-inclusion of the Sikh regiment on the Republic Day Parade.

The officers have said that it was a golden chance for Sikhs to apprise French President Francois Hollande about the Sikh identity but the Indian government didn’t let them do so, by excluding the Sikh regiment from the parade for the first time.

  1. I’ll tell you the reason because the Indian government knows it already that raj khalsa movement or Khalistan movement will start very soon in coming days and Sikhs will bend infront of there guru very soon instead of being oblidged to anyonelse in the world so this is the reason the government dishoned Sikhs from the parade

    • You cannot have a republic day parade without the most valorous regiment on display. The Sikh identity – defiantly and gloriously turbaned and bearded – serves to constantly remind the Indian people (and they need this reminder as they have engaged in and tacitly supported injustice against the Sikhs since 1984 with this perverted ‘collective punishment’ amnesia they have) of the debt they owe the sovereign nation of Sikhs for their liberty.

    • And what the hell do you mean ‘ Sikhs will bend infront of there guru very soon instead of being oblidged to anyonelse in the world’ (sic)? Sikhs have always revered the Gurmat that comes from our Guru before all other earthly considerations (including their very safety) – that’s why the Sikhs were able to stand up and fight for India’s creation and sustenance.
