CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Renowned Punjabi singer Gurpreet Ghuggi today joined the AAP party, in the presence of senior AAP leader Durgesh Pathak, Sanjay Singh, Sucha Singh Chhotepur and Bhagwant Mann.
Ghuggi’s entrance into AAP fold has put an end to the doubts about the party, after former AAP leader Balkar Sidhu left the party for the Congress party.
Addressing media this evening, Ghuggi said, “I have always been a political satirist and now the time has come for me to contribute to Punjab in a practical way. I am immensely impressed by Arvind Kejriwal’s practical politics. This is the party that performs well in Delhi in it’s first year of rule and that enabled me to make up my mind to join it.”

Now we have jokers in all three main parties in PUnjab but Ghuggi of course is a gifted comedian by profession whereas Amarinder Singh and Prakash Badal are just laughing stock and disgrace to their profession.
