Panj Pyare Hold Amrit Sanchar At Gwalior

Panj PiareGWALIOR, Madhya Pradesh—An Amrit Sanchaar program was yesterday held at Gwalior by the Panj Pyare (five beloved ones) of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

The Panj Pyare are now conducting baptism and preaching Sikhism across the country after their dismissal from the Takht by the SGPC. Their next program is scheduled for Bhavanigarh in Punjab.

Answering media queries, Bhai Satnam Singh Khanda (one of the five beloved ones) said that they have received huge appreciation and honor from Sikh masses, since starting preaching tours independently. He added that while serving in the SGPC they often felt many reservations but now they are free to independently preach Sikhism.

Commenting on the financial aid being provided by Akhand Kirtani Jatha and Sikh Relief (UK), Bhai Khanda said that with the facility of a vehicle, they are now able to cover much larger areas. He further added that until now they have not faced any financial problems in their personal their lives due to support from sangat.

Denying possibilities of conducting a baptism in the Khadoor Sahib constituency before February 13, Bhai Khanda said that they have nothing to do with politics.
