NEW DELHI—Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal has announced to commence election campaigns in Punjab from January 14 for the upcoming assembly elections of 2017.   Kejriwal will address a rally on January 14 in Sri Mukatsar Sahib on eve of Maghi.

Ahead of its election campaigns, the Aam Aadmi Party state leadership has expressed great fervour.  Induction of prominent personalities like Sukhpal Singh Khaira, Jagtar Singh Rajla (former MLA) and Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal (senior Congress leader) into AAP’s fold has robust the chances of its dominance in the upcoming elections.

It may be recalled that in the 2014 MP elections, AAP scored 4 seats out of total 13 seats.  Despite not manifesting the face for Chief Minister post, Aam Aadmi Party is receiving tremendous response from the masses in Punjab. State-wide AAP’s rallies have witnessed major gatherings in recent few months.
