Message: Here the focus is on singing the praises of the sweet virtues of the Guru who is an embodiment of the Divine with positive qualities such as love and care. Instead of saying negative words, the tongue should praise and appreciate the Guru’s personality and character. Doing so would inspire us to follow the Guru’s way of living as though we are observing the Guru nearby at all times in our life.

Once the devotee looks up to the Guru as a positive role model through understanding the Guru’s life and teachings, he will benefit from reciting the Guru’s hymns. Upon doing so, such a person is sure to be inspired to lead a good and virtuous life full of love for other human beings too. When the tongue remembers the divine teachings, the mind has positive thoughts and the hands and feet take positive steps
