Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s Health Worsens Despite Intensive Medication

LUDHIANA, Punjab—Despite medication and supplements, Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s condition is not depicting any improvement and his condition is actually worsening. It is notable that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa is on hunger strike since January 16, 2015, seeking release of illegally detained political prisoners who have served mandatory terms of their sentences. He is currently being force fed at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital of Ludhiana by the medical staff at the behest of the Punjab government.

Talking with Sikh24’s correspondent, Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi (Bapu Surat Singh’s son) informed that physique of Bapu Ji was worsening day by day.  He informed that intensive medications are having a toll on Bapu Ji’s physical and mental condition.

“Physical weakness of Bapu Ji is still constant and he remains asleep most time. He also informed that voice of Bapu Ji fluctuates while talking, and the volume of voice also remains very low while he talks with anyone,” Bhai Ravinder Jeet Singh told Sikh24.com

It may be recalled that Bapu Ji recently survived a deadly condition when water started accumulating in his body due to injection of incompatible liquid supplements.
