PATIALA, Punjab—Earlier today, Jathedar Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara was brought to the Delhi Patiala House court complex. Sikh Sangat in large numbers arrived here to get a glimpse of the newly appointed Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. This was Bhai Hawara’s first public appearance after being announced as the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib at the Sarbat Khalsa in November 2015.
Heavy police force was present throughout the complex. As Sikh Sangat had glimpse of Bhai Hawara, they raised “Bole So Nihal” slogans and showered flower petals on him. A delegation also presented a siropa to Bhai Hawara.
Meanwhile, a petition launched last month in USA has crossed 80,000 mark. Petition was launched by Sikhs for Justice seeking President Barrack Obama to raise the issue of Bhai Hawara’s release. The petition at the link http://wh.gov/iyzHm requires 19,000 additional signatures before it will be considered by the USA President.

I don’t think a Sikh theocracy state will be an utopian state .
It will most likely go the Saudi Arabia way .
1984 was due to a very immature leadership of that time who did not understand world Politics .

Every other major religion in this world has a homeland.
Millions of Sikhs, around the world, and we don’t have a homeland.. why?

No one can put Punjab on fire again on basis of
1) Religious Ground and divide
2) Independent homeland
A regime change is most likely being planned in Punjab by the Empire .
The Empire wants to come back to power in Punjab riding on the Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara shoulders.
A similar strategy was used in the Rise of Jarnail Singh Bhindrwala an put Punjab on the boil in 1980 -1990.
It will not work because
1) There is ,was no Religious conflict in Punjab and there will never be.
2) There is, was no demand on a independent home land away from India as Sikhs are intrinsically Indians.
3) People of Punjab abhor violence and violent men.
4) People intrinsic faith in Democracy rather in Coup or revolution
5) The state , and Nations security apparatus will prevent all illegal approached to power except through the
“BALLOT BOX”
