LUDHIANA, Punjab—In a press release in Ludhiana, Panthik bodies have called a meeting of all the organizations on December 1.
The meeting would be held in Ludhiana, but the venue of meeting has not still declared. A seven member co-ordination committee comprising Bhai Jang Singh, Bhai Balwinder Singh Shahkot, Bhai Tarlok Singh Dalla, Bhai Bhawandeep Singh Ludhiana, Baba Kulwant Singh, Bhai Jatinder Singh Eesrhu and Bhai Bahadur Singh Rahon, has been constituted for making preparations of the meeting.
Addressing the press conference, Bhai Jatinder Singh Eesrhu said that Punjab government was not serious about Sikh issues. He added that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s physique is deteriorating day by day but the government is continuously force feeding him.
He also complained that instead of delivering justice to Sikh nation in desecration cases, the Punjab government has conferred the investigation cases to the state.
Use the lawyers to restrain abuse of authority and power under the constitutional and administrative legal rights of India. The government and the police are all under the law and not above it. The police are to maintain law and order and not to abuse their powers and instill fear in the public, especially the poor and oppressed being further subjected to ridicule, harassment and assaults. All governing bodies are responsible for the directions given to their employees.
The assaults inflicted on the prison inmates – criminal charges should be laid against the police officers immediately. All lawyers should fight for the cause of justice and the public should have confidence at least in them,
