BANGKOK, Thailand—Hong Kong resident Gurpreet Singh Gopi has made strong objection over the claims of Punjab police of blaming NRI Sikhs for desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in Punjab.
Talking with the media, Gurpreet Singh clarified that he contacted Bhai Rupinder Singh after he found out about his injuries. “I wanted to send him money so he could for for his treatment,” said Gurpreet Singh.
“I have known Rupinder Singh for a long time, and he is a very trustworthy person,” he added. Gurpreet Singh said that he provided him financial aid for treatment on the ground of humanity.
