YUBA CITY, California, USA—Organizers of USA’s biggest Nagar Kirtar have announced a complete boycott of Akali Dal (Badal). The decision by the Tierra Buena based Gurdwara Sahib committee has come after cases of growing sacrilege in Punjab.
The following points were announced in regards to the boycott of Akali Dal –
Boycott Akali Dal Badal & PTC at Yuba City Nagar Kirtan 2015
1. Nobody from Akali Dal Badal and it’s associates will be allowed to speak from Gurdwara stage.
2. No Float for Akali Dal Badal
3. Full boycott of PTC channel at Yuba City Nagar Kirtan 2015
The Yuba City Nagar kirtan takes place every year in November. A large presence of Akali Dal (B) supporters was also seen at the Nagar Kirtan. Most importantly, this was the only nagar kirtan which allowed Akali Dal to have its own float in past.
