NANDED, India—Sikh devotees of Nanded Sahib organized a massive protest march against the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib. Jathedar of Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib Giani Kulwant Singh led the protest march as the Sikh Sangat paid tributes to Shaheed Bhai Gurjit Singh and Shaheed Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh of village Behbal Kalan.
Singh Sahib Giani Kulwant Singh demanded strict punishment for the the culprits who committed sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib. He appealed the Sikh masses to continue protests, but also organize Chaupai Sahib jaaps and Sehaj Path Sahibs in villages to regret the desecration of Guru Granth Sahib. He urged the Sikh masses to unite on a common platform to combat growing incidents of sacrilege.
Baba Narinder Singh and Baba Balwinder Singh Langar Wale appealed the Sikh Nation to not get provoked and remain patient in this tough condition. They sought immediate and strict action against those who committed the desecration. Both of them appreciated the Jathedars’ move of restoring their earlier stand about the Sirsa Cult Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim however held them accountable for their lack of firm stance.
