LUDHIANA, Punjab—Bibi Navneet Kaur, wife of Sikh political prisoner Prof. Devinderpal Singh Bhullar today paid a visit to Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa at his Hassanpur based residence. Despite his critical health, Bapu Surat Singh was happy to meet with Bibi Bhullar. While referring to Bibi Bhullar as “Bibi Rajni”, Bapu Ji highly appreciated her commitment and sacrifices.
Meanwhile, the Punjab government submitted its status report in the Punjab & High Court on October 12. Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana Rajat Aggarwal stated in report that the administration admitted Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa in PGI Chandigarh to facilitate him medication and he was discharged on October 10. The Court of Justice Anita Choudhary has deferred the next hearing to November 3 to deeply study the report submitted by administration.
It is noteworthy that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa was discharged by the Administration on October 10, keeping in view the upcoming hearing of petition in High Court on October 12.
