Sikhs Of Connecticut Participate in Heart Walk

CONNETICUT, USA—The Heart walk was organized by the American Heart Association in which people in large number participated to show their support and to raise funds for people fighting heart disease.

The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Founded by six cardiologists in 1924, the organization now includes more than 22.5 million volunteers and supporters. 

Sikhs of Connecticut also participated in this in event to show support and to help bring awareness amongst people with t-shirts and brochures.

Many members of the CT Sikh association like Kulwant singh Samara, Hargurpreet Singh, Maninder Singh Arora, Mr. And Mrs Amandeep Singh, Kanwaljeet Singh and Kuljit Singh Khalsa came to show their support.

Swaranjit Singh Khalsa, member of the Sikh Sewak Society also participated with other members for this cause and distributed Sikh awareness t-shirts and brochures.

Khalsa Said these kinds of event are very powerful and brings the Sikhs to the fore where they get a chance to educate fellow Americans about Sikhi.
