Information available from reliable sources reveals that the Sirsa Cult disciples were organizing a promotional rally in Pehowa for the upcoming movie ‘MSG-2’ of their self-styled god Gurmeet Ram Rahim. While the disciples were about to pass from front of Gurdwara Sahib, the Sikh activists came out on roads to oppose the rally. Meanwhile, police tried to sort out the matter but the two sides didn’t give up.

The Sikh activists blocked the Chandigarh-Hissar national highway to stop the cult disciples from promoting Ram Rahim and demanded to remove posters of ‘MSG-2’ from the city. The situation became more serious when the cult disciples tried to attack Sikh activists with sharp edged swords and speared rods. But the police contingents controlled the situation by intervening immediately. The road remained block for three hours and the travellers and commuters were stuck due to the situation.

Eventually, the police resorted to a lathicharge on the activists to vacate the road.
