NEW DELHI—Strongly condemning the ban on upcoming Punjabi movie ‘Jinda-Sukha’ throughout India, President of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) S. Simranjit Singh Mann has said that the ban has made it clear that Sikhs will never get justice in this country.  He referred to the Indian constitution as unjust and against humanity.

While condemning the ban, S. Mann reiterated his stand for the establishment of a sovereign Sikh state.  He asserted that Khalistan is an ultimate solution to all Sikh problems.

S. Mann advised the Modi Government to lift ban from the movie as soon as possible.  He added that movie was financed by the Sikh community and alleged that no one should have any problem over it.

It is noteworthy that the Central Board for Film Certification had earlier passed the movie.  The Central government however took this matter to Appellate Tribunal with intention to impose a ban. While decision of Appellate Tribunal was being awaited, the central government implemented ban using its own powers.
