LUDHIANA, Punjab—Former AISSF leaders have expressed grief over the murder of Bhai Satwinder Singh Bhola. It is notable that Bhai Satwinder Singh Bhola (son-in-law of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa) was recently murdered outside his residential apartment in Peoria, IL, USA. Leaders of the AISSF have continued to visit Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa pay express solidarity.
Earlier this week, former AISSF leader Virsa Singh Valtoha said that Bhai Satwinder Singh Bhola did great seva for the Panth. He said that Bhai Bhola sacrificed his life for the Sikh cause but his murder is still a big mystery that needs to be unearthed soon.
Bhai Sarabjit Singh Sohal and Bhai Manjit Singh Bhoma said that Bhai Bhola did incomparable work in reinstating All India Sikh Students Federation after June 1984 episode. They informed that during the days of ban on AISSF, Bhai Bhola’s tireless efforts along with other Federation workers made it possible to revert the ban. The duo appealed the whole AISSF leadership and Sikh masses to attend homage ceremony going to be held in Mandi Mullanpur on August 30.
AISSF President Bhai Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad also expressed his condolences to the family members and termed Bhai Bhola’s departure a big loss for Sikh Panth.
Former AISSF leader Dr. Bhagwan Singh Sandhu, Dr. Karaj Singh Dharam Singh Wala, Bhai Gurmukh Singh Sandhu, Bhai Gurbakhsh Singh, Bhai Gagandeep Singh Riar, Bhai Lakhwinder Singh, Bhai Jatinder Singh etc. were also present on this occasion.
