UK Sikhs and Kashmiris Stage Protest outside Indian Consulate

LONDON, UK—On the occasion 69th Independence day of India, UK Sikhs and Kashmiris staged a protest outside the Indian consulate in London. Under the banner of Federation of Sikh organizations, Sikh activists alleged that atrocities of Indian state on the minorities in last 68 years had exceeded the parameters of atrocities committed during the Mughal Empire.

Kashmiris also took part in this protest in large numbers.  The gathering of Sikhs and Kashmiris signified the unity of minorities against Indian state’s oppressive policies. The protesters were shouting slogans in favour of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale and Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa. All of them were carrying large sized mementos of Sant Bhindranwale and Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa in their hands.

Bhai Kuldeep Singh Chaheru (Coordinator, Federation of Sikh Organizations), Bhai Amrik Singh Gill (Chief, Sikh Federation U.K), Bhai Hardish Singh, Bhai Amrik Singh Sahota (Council of Khalstan), Bhai Ranjit Singh Sarai, Bhai Sukhwinder Singh Khalsa and Bhai Lashvinder Singh Dalewal (United Khalsa Dal U.K), Bhai Baldev Singh, Bhai Gurdev Singh Chauhan of Shiromani Akali Dal (U.K), Bhai Rajinder Singh Chitti, Bhai Sarabjit Singh, Bhai Manmohan Singh Khalsa (Dal Khalsa), Bhai Balwinder Singh (Dharam Yudh Jatha, Damdami Taksal), Bhai Raghbir Singh (International Panthik Dal) etc. took part in this protest.

  1. The Indian government promised us, our own Sikh Land, Khalistan, but we didn’t got our own land. The Indian government broke our promise, those Hindu fudus.
