LUDHIANA, Punjab—Implementing strict attitude towards the struggle of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa for the release of political Sikh prisoners, Punjab police today disallowed the members of the Bandi Singhs Rihai Sangharsh Committee from meeting Bapu Ji.
As per information available with Sikh24, when the Sangharsh Committee members Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda, Bhai Mohkam Singh, Bhai Satnam Singh Manawa, Bhai Wassan Singh Zaffarwal, Bibi Pritam Kaur and others reached Hassanpur to meet Bapu Surat Singh, the police personnel deployed there didn’t allow them to enter the village. After wrangling with the administration for near about an hour, the administration allowed them to meet Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa but on the condition that the members will not reside there for more than an hour and a police officer will accompany them.
Convener of the Bandi Singhs Rihai Sangharsh Committee S. Gurdeep Singh Bathinda told Sikh24 that Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa shared eminent details about the Government. He said that these details will be disclosed publicly on August 17. He also informed that the next meeting to discuss the future course of action will be held in Moga.
