LUDHIANA, Punjab—Despite immense pressure, Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa has refused to undergo any medical treatment or checkup.  Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa has refused to give blood and urine samples for medical examinations or get his BP test conducted.

A meeting took place yesterday with Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa, Giani Gurbachan Singh (Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Mal Singh (Keshgarh Sahib), Avtar Makkar and Paramjit Singh Mehta.  These leaders tried to persuade Bapu Surat Singh to end his hunger strike, however he refused to entertain their demand until the Government took steps for release of political prisoners.

AAP MLA from Delhi Jarnail Singh also tried to meet Bapu Surat Singh however he was denied entrance by the police.  He later joined a protest at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.

Bapu Surat Singh remained ill for the entire day today.  He was quiet most of the time.  Baba Avtar Singh (Bidhi Chand Ji) and Baba Ranjit Singh (Rara Sahib) came to see Bapu Ji, however they were also denied entry.

  1. Something is very fishy, I wonder why is government taking so long to release elderly prisoners. In fact, I believe that a terrorist attack was just a stunt by government and more similar stunts are expected in near future to divert attention of media and public.

My theory is maybe Sikh opponents killed them in jail? and they are alive only in papers. Just assuming because they have a history of doing such pathetic things.

Government uses and abuses its civilians in so called DRAMATIC INDIA. No safety, full of corruption, legal system is a total mess, NO HUMAN RIGHTS, A RAPE CAPITAL, a country where most of the COURT JUDGES are corrupt (yes they take bribe).

India can to a lot better, let us see how can MODI resolve these issues and in how many months (*sarcasm*). Sorry but India is no more what it used to be, instead of doing better it is becoming a DRUG country too (THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE LAW AND GOVERNMENT OF COURSE).

  2. Respected Bapu Ji We all with you.
For your support we will start candle march from Gurdwara Bangla sahib to Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on dated 2nd August 2015 at 4 PM
