CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The ongoing infighting among Punjab leaders of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is deepening day by day. AAP MP from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Harinder Singh Khalsa has said that he had conveyed to Arvind Kejriwal that it was hard to work along with party’s Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur.

“It is being heard in central hall of Parliament that Kejriwal feels that their party may lose power in Delhi before completing its full tenure. Thus he keeps eye on Punjab assembly elections-2017”, revealed Khalsa while talking to a journalist of a Punjabi daily.

On being asked about his stance of parting ways with the AAP, he said that he is discussing over it with the wise people of his constituency. He said, however, he is committed for policy and programme of the party.

He denied allegations leveled by chief of legal cell of the party Himmat Singh Shergill against him. Shergill had alleged that Khalsa had nexus with ruling SAD (B) leadership. Khalsa said that Shergill was not able to the allegations against him, and has apologized for his statement.
