—Bhai Sarwan Singh from Surrey, BC, Canada has been included in an infographic that lists 50 “insane facts” about the country. Bhai Sarwan Singh set a Guinness Book of World Record by having the longest beard. His beard was measured at 2.36 meters or 7.7 3/4 ft, at a jam packed, Akal Academy in Surrey BC, in 2008.
Although the infographic has depicted Bhai Sahib’s rather long beard, it has not shown him wearing a dastar (turban). Bhai Sarwan Singh is a member of the Sikh faith and has kept uncut hair his entire life.
