CHANDIGARH, Punjab—President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) S. Simranjit Singh Mann has stated that Indian state has maintained different standards for the minorities and majority masses residing in India. He expressed these views at Cardiac Centre of PGIMER in Chandigarh.

He alleged that while tackling with culprits of Hindu majority, the Indian state creates environment to prove their crimes as instigation of sentiments to protect them. On the other hand, the same state implements rude attitude towards innocents of minorities like Sikhs, Muslims and Christians.

Explaining the current example of such double standards, S. Mann maintained that on one side the Indian state is compelling Pakistan to handover the Zaki-Ur-Rehman-Lakhvi to them. At same time, Ministers like Sushma Svaraj and Vasundhra Raje are eager to move Lalit Modi out of the boundaries of India with avowed intent.

Mann said that the double standards of Indian state towards minorities will not be tolerated anymore. He warned the Government of stopping all these injustices and announced to start campaign against such behaviours, if the government doesn’t maintain so.
