AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—In view of health condition of Sikh political prisoner Prof. Davinderpal Singh Bhullar, the concerned authorities have extended him some relaxation. He has been allowed to meet his wife Bibi Navneet Kaur Bhullar more often and take the food prepared at home.
As per the relaxation, his wife Navneet Kaur can now stay with him for five hours every day. RK Sharma, Jail Superintendent, said on request from the hospital, he has been provided homely environment.
On the other hand, the doctors have said that improvement was being observed in the health condition of Prof. Bhullar and the dosage of medicine has been reduced.
Bibi Bhullar said that she was grateful to the jail authorities for permitting her to attend her husband frequently. “I can now bring home-cooked food and fruits for him. However, I am not allowed to have any confidential talk with my husband. It was not the case in Delhi. I urge the authorities to tell the security personnel to leave the room when I visit him”, he said.
