Sikh Leaders Meet Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa and S. Simranjit Singh Mann in Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Sikhs leaders from the Dal Khalsa met with Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa earlier today.  Kanwarpal Singh, the spokesperson of the organization said that Bapu Surat Singh strongly stands on the mission to free Sikh political prisoners. He asked Sikh Sangat to pray for Bapu Ji and for the chardi kala of the sangarsh.

Ranvir Singh, another senior leader of Dal Khalsa stated that Bapu Ji is not well physically, however he remains steadfast in his struggle.

The meeting between Bapu Surat Singh and Dal Khalsa leaders lasted for about 30 mins.  Meanwhile, Sikh Sangat in large numbers also did path and ardas for Bapu Ji’s chardi kala and for release of Sikh political prisoners.  Sangat gathered outside the PGI and sat in the lawn to do path.

Dal Khalsa leaders also met with S. Simranjit Singh Mann and inquired about his health.  They shared updates from Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa’s sangarsh with S. Mann and wishes him speedy recovery.  S. Simranjit Singh Mann has been undergoing treatment at the PGI’s cardiology department.  He was hospitalized earlier in May.
