VANCOUVER, BC, Canada—Although the organizers were expecting a large turn out, the the International Yoga Day event failed miserably in British Columbia. The event took place at the Downtown Vancouver’s Plaza of Nations, attracting less than 50 people.
Voice Online, a British Columbia based media outlet posted a picture from Downtown Vancouver showing hardly any attendees. The event was sponsored by mainstream Indian businesses, and famous singer Mika Singh and comedian Kapil Sharma were invited to attend, however hardly anyone showed up.
