BREAKING: High Court Questions Badal Govt under which scheme it offered Job to Orbit Incident Victim

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Parkash ‘Singh’ Badal led Punjab government is amid another controversy relating to the Orbit bus molestation case.  Today, in a significant development, the Punjab and Haryana High Court questioned Punjab Govt on compensation and job assurance to family of Moga bus victims.  

The court also asked under which scheme it made job assurance to victim family. It directed the government to file an affidavit whether job is to be offered by the state or Orbit.

Besides, the court found the affidavit submitted by the government, lacking information. The court has fixed next hearing of the case on July 30.

In April 2015, a mother and daughter were molested on a bus owned by the Badal family.  They were later thrown out of the moving bus, which led to death of the daughter.
