English Version of Prof Harinder Singh Mehboob’s Book Released

Saheje Racheo KhalsaSRI FATEHGARH SAHIB, Punjab—Dedicated to the 350th foundation day of Sri Anandpur Sahib, the Punjabi version of the renowned Sikh scholar and poet late Prof. Harinder Singh Mehboob’s book ‘Majhaban Da Safar’ (Journey to world religion) was released by member of parliament Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa at a function. The book is part of the famous scripture ‘Sehaje Racheo Khalsa’ written by Prof. Mehboob.

The book has been translated by Mehboob’s aide and noted Sikh writer-scholar Dr. Gurtaran Singh. The release function was held at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University and attended by university V-C Dr. Gurmohan Singh Walia and Punjab Language Department director Chetan Singh.

Addressing the gathering, Dhindsa said that by translating the book of the great Sikh scholar, Dr. Gurtaran Singh has done a great task which will make the writings popular on an international level. He said the translated version would provide an opportunity to the international community to learn how and why the Sikh religion is different and unique from other religions.
