Sikh Leader from Aam Aadmi Party (India) Donates One Month’s Salary for Quake-hit People of Nepal; Asks Others To Contribute

LUDHIANA, Punjab—Aam Aadmi Party MP Harinder Singh Khalsa has announced to donate his one month salary for earthquake affected people of Nepal.  While making the announcement, he also appealed to other MPs and activists to contribute towards the relief work in Nepal.

Khalsa has further started an initiative to collect donations from Punjab for the earthquake victims.  Through his contributions, two helpline numbers have been launched by the AAP volunteers in Ludhiana to gather donations for the victims. He said, “the helplines numbers have being started to facilitate donations by the people to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.”

“People of Punjab have always extended help to victims of natural calamities and I hope that this time they will come forward as well,” he added.
