TURLOCK, California, USA—In a debate that took place this past Saturday at the Turlock Gurdwara Sahib in California, Sarbjeet Dhunda was given stage time only on the condition that he would allow the Sikh Sangat to ask open questions. The focus of the debate was to question Dhunda’s interpretation of various Gurbani topics, such as recitation of naam, ardas, and the concept of 8,400,000 life forms and re-birth.
Dhunda often backs up his claims by referring to Prof. Sahib Singh’s interpretation of Gurbani. This is however incorrect as Prof. Sahib Singh’s interpretations counter with Sarbjeet Dhunda clearly. Where Dhunda is against recitation/repetition of naam simran, re-births, various life forms, Prof. Sahib Singh writes on these topics in great depth.
The debate took place after noon after the diwan was over. Sangat were eager to talk to Dhunda and discuss different topics. Many felt that he was purposely misleading the sangat over various topics and issues. While some agreed that it is important to raise awareness of social issues, pseudo-saints, etc., Dhunda and other people of ‘Kala Afghana’ ideology often use these topics to spread their own mis-interpretations of Gurbani.
Dhunda was asked a series of questions which he was unable to respond to. He tried to go back and forth on his explanations without providing any references. He asked Sikh Sangat to provide proof that Prof. Sahib Singh believes in recitation of naam simran and various life-forms. Sangat was quick to provide references from the “Guru Granth Darpan”. Dhunda then counteracted his statement and stated that he doesn’t question recitation of simran, 8,400,000 life-forms, etc. However Gursikhs provided him with number of his recordings where he had tried to nullify these concepts.
Towards the end of the debate, which was going no-where as Dhunda failed to back up his claims, he was asked why he continues to go against various mandates of the Akal Takht Sahib. He was asked why he continues to communicate with various persons who have been excommunicated by the Panth. Upon hearing this, Dhunda and his followers made a scene and tried to save their face by condemning Akal Takht Sahib’s institute. These persons then left the Gurdwara hurriedly as they had no response.

It is nothing like your report which you posted above. Most of the questions were answered even though many people were there just to argue and not to take part in “Veechar”. As for making a scene, you can see from about 20 mins left that Sarabjit Singh Dhunda and his people wanted to leave, and while he didn’t answer the last question, which was valid, it was the person with him who said this was not the topic and got up to leave, and it was his arm that was grabbed by someone from sangat…

I don’t know if Dhunda is write or wrong. I see lot of his vedios. I don’t see anything wrong. You say guys who evre is submiting a reply are useing so many bad words, i have a dout that you are sikhs. If you are a sikh you shoud be down to earth and not using any bad words. I see so many adds on this site for so many babas that make the people touch their feet. Why don’t you write anything about that. I have a vedio on my face book that SGPC write a book in hindi that says lot of bad words about our gurus. Do you say a single word about that. Prof. Darshan Singh Khalsa work his whole life for sikhism but now those people from RRS, the SGPC and Badal company says he is not a sikh even. You should think twice before you write antthing. Sadh sangat jio, this is Prabhjot singh and I along with many other sevadaars set up this meeting with dhunda. We got the turlock committee to invite him to do diwan but only on one condition and that was if he gave te sangat time to do an open discussion. Some of the sevadaars included were; my father Kulwant singh, janti Paji, Daljit Paji from Stockton, Amarjit singh ki from Manteca, Gurjeet uncle ji from turlock, jaswinder singh, and many others as well.
This interview with Sarbjit dhunda was set up to expose the false knowledge dhunda and his colleagues are giving to the poor sangat.
The first initial deal was to have an open discussion before he did his katha, but his colleagues said, they will only give time to do an open discussion to the sangat if they first can do this diwaan. So then the sangat only let him do that so we can all get an opportunity to do a live interview with him in person in front of the sangat.
So after the diwaan was over the whole sangat went upstairs and sat as a group. The very first questions were asked by Kulwant singh.
The basis of the questions were going to be only on Guru Granth Sahib JI and akhal takht Mariada.
We all know there had been questions that have been brought up to dhunda and his colleagues, which have never been answered, but this is the first time simple questions were asked about Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Our main focal for this discussion was so we can clear what is the stand of dhunda and his colleagues on the very basic questions of our supreme living guru ji.
Below will be a list of simple questions that were asked:
1: we had asked him if he believed if professor sahib singhs teeka is the best ever written on Guru Granth Sahib Ji? He had answered yes
2: so then next ? Asked was if he believed Everything written in Guru Granth Sahib Ji is true or not? He after some thought answered yes.
3. Then the simple ? Asked to him was if he beloved in 8.4 million life’s and if there is an after life or if the soul continues its journey.? He was not able to answer this because they believe there is nothing after and God has only created us to be better human beings. But Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji answers this ? Over and over by yes there is an after life and what we do, we will have to repent.
4. Next biggest ? Was about the super natural things Guru Granth Sahib Ji has written and if dhunda believed if those were just written or those events actually took place.? So dhunda answers and started to be smart and saying how can a fish go in the air and how can a cow be back alive after it was dead., but clearly professor sahib singh and other scholars have all said and interpreted those gurbani verses in that way that those incidents have occurred just how they have been written. He didn’t give us the chance to read those verses and insisted he well say then himself, but in the future recordings we will be providing those proofs.
So the answer to his ? My father gave was, if God wants anything is possible. So if that means the cow was alive again according to guru Nanak dev jis bani, then it was because God the dearie himself made that happen to show and honor the protection of his devotees.
5. The last big ? Was asked by Bhai Amarbir singh from MANTECA. The ? Was does any sikh pracharaks has the right according to akhal takht Mariada to openly condemn dasam Granth, and dhunda said show me where I have done that, and then Amarbir singh replies we do have proof from many times. Then he denies and tries to change the topic and his partners next to him as U see in the video (Balraj where dhunda stays in Paterson when he comes to cali) gets up and says this is not part of the debate today: the ? Was not if dasam Granth is right or wrong, it was only asked if according to our akhal takht Mariada it is right to condemn dasam Granth. So that’s where he gets up and gets fristeratenme and leaves the open discussion, and they all run out.
6. The very big next ? He was asked was, if he believed doing Vaheguru Simran is a waste of time and if that had any meaning for the after life. He first paused again, and then finally answered that Simran is only for us to get a peace of mind here in this world and he said that he doesn’t know if it has any meaning after since he has never died yet. But we insisted over and over that our Guru Granth Sahib Ji answers that over and over , ANG by ang page by page that there is a meaning and without the recitation of God, no one will find the door of liberation at the gods court unless God chooses otherwise. So that being said what right does he have saying Vaheguru Simran is pretty much a waste of time.
So those were the basic ?s he could not answer because there colleagues do not believe in these things and they only believe that making a good life is everything.. Then the ? Arises why where a turban, why keep a beard, why have hope from God? There are a lot of good and beautiful souls that do not believe in God but are great human beings. Basically according to dhunda that is fine.
We have nothing against those individuals at all, but our fight is with people like dhunda that use the beautiful Gurbani that God has given us to misguide the poor sangat that have yet not read gurbani in depth.
We all need to stop not only dhunda but others who preach on the name of Sikhi for there personal gains. We should only let so called professor dhunda continue to preach if he can answer only the basic ?s of Sikhi. Until then we all need be a unity and stop all these pracharaks who are misfiring the innocent Sukhie that are blind foldly just trying to take a step closer to God.

After the videos will be posted, it will be followed with an interview with Kulwant singh to go in detail what happened. And we challenge dhunda and there colleagues to come openly have a debate only and only about what gurbani is saying.
We cannot let him continue to preach until he believes Guru Granth Sahib ji is incomplete.

Dhundha have dealt with these idiots rightfully by avoiding them they are stupors no point arguing with them, there are other people like Ram Rahim and Sant Samaaj they are quite happy with them but not with Dhundha… They are them self creating rift in Sikhs and are real Panth Dhokhis… Govt sponsored for sure
