Tensions Prevail in Rajasthan as Sacha Sauda Follower Commits Beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib Ji

HANUMANGARH, Rajasthan, India—Tensions prevailed in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district when a sacred volume of Guru Granth Sahib was stolen by a follower of the Sacha Sauda cult. 

Bawri Shankar, a Sacha Sauda cult follower of Gurmeet Ram Rahim committed beadbi as he buried the saroop after stealing it from Gurdwara Baba Deep singh Ji.

A report was filed with the police after a sevadar noticed the saroop was missing from the Gurdwara.

Some villagers living nearby the Gurdwara claimed to have seen Shankar carrying the saroop with him. 

After the incidents, the police and local sevadars went to his house to investigate and found the saroop buried in the ground.  The saroop was recovered in damaged condition.

  1. No tolerance with the guiltys in Beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib Ji Lord of Universe. Punjab Sikhs Police & local Sikhs have to get united and punish the culprit..
