Karnataka Professor Wants Law Minister To Adopt Zafarnaama in all Indian Law Colleges and Universities

Union Law Minister Presented Kannada Version of Jap Ji Sahib by Karnataka Professor in Chandigarh

PATIALA, Punjab—Union Law Minister DV Sadananda Gouda was presented with the Kannada version of Sri Jap Ji Sahib in a national seminar held in the law department of the Punjab University.

Panditrao who has translated Sri Jap Ji Sahib presented a copy to the Union Minister only after making sure the minister has covered his head.

After the request by Professor Panditrao Dharennavar and after understanding the sensitivity of the holy text, the Minister himself covered his head with handkerchief which was given by Panditrao. Following this, the vice chancellor, Arun Kumar Grower and Former MP, Sat Pal Jain, also stood up and covered their heads with a handkerchief.

Panditrao requested the minister to adopt Zafarnaama in all the law colleges and universities so that the philosophy of Zafaranama could be understood by the law makers.

Panditrao Dharennavar has written eight books in Punjabi and translated Japji Sahib and Sukhmani Sahib into Kannada. He has also translated the Zafarnama (the letter by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1705).  He is a native of Karnataka but now lives in Chandigarh.

  1. Do not trust these rss who probably have a ulterior motive to distort zafarnama to their rss benefit, like modi visit to Sri Darbar Sahib Jio
