AMRITSAR SAHIB—Stating that no “clean chit” was issued to the movie Nanak Shah Fakir, appointed Jathedar, Giani Gurbachan Singh has stated that amendments must be made to the movie before its release. “I merely gave my best wishes to the film producer, by no means were they a clean chit,” he said.
It is important to mention that the motion poster of Nanak Shah Fakir displays gratitude to the Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar for providing guidance in making the movie.
Giani Gurbachan Singh has allegedly been in touch with Harinder Singh Sikka, the producer, and has clarified his position. Giani Gurbachan Singh told Sikka that all objectionable scenes must be deleted before the release in cinemas.
SGPC has condemned the movie by stating that all movies based on Sikh history must first be approved by it. SGPC President Avtar Makkar said that no approval has been sought from the SGPC till date.
SGPC and lot want a BRIBE before approving anything. Chaarsahibzaday was agaisnt rait marada too, yet was approved after getting bribe. So only problem with Nanak is he did not give Bribe to SGPC for approval! Nanak must give bribe to SGPC or be Banned of Guru-hood to the world
