BATALA, Punjab—Navtej Singh Guggu is a well known personality across the whole Sikh nation. He came to the limelight by punishing Nihang Ajit Poohla. His straight forward and daring nature has made him a model for the youth.
Now, as Bhai Guggu has been released from jail, he is involved in a new initiative. Navtej Singh has now exposed the name of drug dealers of Batala and Gurdaspur along with their location and phone numbers. This anti-drug campaign of Bhai Guggu has motivated the youth of other districts to take a step against drug menace in Punjab.
Sikh24 has learned that the Punjab people who are tired of increasing drug abuse in the state, have now started coordinating with Bhai Guggu by providing him with names of drug dealers. In turn, Bhai Guggu’s organization installs banners in corresponding districts exposing such people.
Bhai Guggu told Sikh24 said that he has recorded hundreds of names of drug dealers across Punjab. He said that the network of Drug Mafia of Punjab is quite large and finishing it is not an easy task.
He said that the public exposure of names of these drug dealers has depicted some positive impact and the police is also favoring his organization in this task.
When Sikh24 contacted Batala Police Chief Inderbir Singh Bularia, he said that all the persons accused in the list couldn’t be investigated right away, due to deployment of police in Amritsar in vision of Prime Minister’s visit.
