U.S. Supreme Court To Rule On Religious Articles; Sikhs May Be Impacted

WASHINGTON DC, USA—The U.S. Supreme Court was critical of Abercrombie & Fitch for its failure to hire a Muslim applicant who was wearing a Hijab.

This case matters because it can affect your rights as a job applicant and your responsibilities as an employer as you may have to engage in dialogues in which you have to accommodate for your religious beliefs.

We joined an amicus brief submitted for this case last December, explaining why Sikh applicants are often at a severe disadvantage during the hiring process because of their religious believes. It’s good to see our concerns echoed by the court.
