CHANDIGARH, Punjab—After the force feeding of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa who is on hunger strike for the release of illegally detained Sikh Political Prisoners, daughter of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa has exposed the inhumane behavior of the police towards her father. In a press meet at Sector-22 of Chandigarh, she has stated that the police is using severe physical and mental tortures on her father. S. Gurtej Singh (IAS) and famous historian S. Gurdarshan Singh Dhillon were also present on this occasion.
Daughter of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa Bibi Sarvarinder Kaur (US citizen) informed Sikh24 last evening that Senior Police Officer of CIA, Sukhwinder Bhullar, arrived in the Emergency Ward of Civil Hospital Ludhiana with a huge police force. During their conversation with Bapu Surat Singh, Sukhwinder Bhullar used abusing language about great Sikh of 20th century, Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwala. Not tolerating such derogatory terms, Bapu Surat Singh asked the police officer to not utter such words. Sukhwinder Bhullar got into a confrontation and ordered his junior cadre to arrest all members of Bapu Ji’s family for using abusing words.
Police Surveillance and State Propaganda Against The Movement
Bibi Ji informed that when she met Bapu Ji after this incident, he was under police surveillance and was being injecting with glucose. His arms were tied and was forcefully given a cord for urination. She strictly condemned the allegations of DGP Sumedh Saini in which he stated that Bapu Ji was eating ghee. She said that it is a state propaganda to defame the struggle of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa.
Fabricated Case Against US Citizen Ravinder Jeet Singh “Gogi”
She informed that police has filed a false case against her brother Ravinder Jeet Singh Gogi. She said that 107/51 is meant for violent clash between two factions however there was no clash at the Gurdwara. The Police have presented itself as the second faction and have also filed the case itself. It is notable that Bapu Surat Singh is detained in Ludhiana Jail.
S. Gurtej Singh and Dr. Gurdarshan Singh Dhillon stated that the role of police is abusive in the case of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa as he is peacefully struggling for Sikh rights. S. Jasbir Singh of Akali Dal (Panch Pardhani) and Kamikkar Singh Mukandpur were also present on this occasion.
Why is AAP not interferring in this instance as Punjab Sikhs are Indians too?
Saini has personal interest to protect himself from illegal inmates brutality, killings etc he committed/ ordered, because only political prisoners has courage to challenge evil police, government.
