SAN JOSE, California, USA—Family members of Ravinderjeet Singh, son of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa, who was abducted by the Ludhiana Police last night, have expressed concern over his safety. Family members have stated that so far no one knows where Ravinderjeet Singh was taken after he was arrested from the Ludhiana Civil Hospital.
Ravinderjeet Singh is a USA citizen and was at the Ludhiana Civil Hospital to look after his father who has been on a virtual arrest there. Family members have reached out to various USA Government officials, along with human rights organizations for their intervention.
Bapu Surat Singh’s son is a well respected personality in the Sikh community in America. He has apparently been charged under section 7/51 of IPC after the arrest which took place around 6 PM.
It is important to mention that the police tried to force feed Bapu Surat Singh after he fell unconscious. Surinder Singh, a well respected journalist from Punjab, was also arrested however later released.
Can you please investigate the Sikhnet, they are not following sikhism at all and misleading many sikhs born and bred abroad. They are spreading totally distorted version of sikhism to sikhs in diaspora.
