CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab Unit is going to start a mass contact campaign under the banner of “HAAL PUNJAB DA – DARD PUNJAB DA” on February 28.
In a statement issued here, AAP Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur said, “The campaign was planned already but postponed due to busy schedule of AAP cadre.”
“Under the programme, party will highlight the present situation of Punjab on various socio-economic matters and will also talk about the sufferings of Punjabis due to non-performance of corrupt successive Governments in Punjab since independence. Awareness marches, goshtis (forums), seminars and open houses will be held all over the state till the next Punjab Assembly Elections”, he added.
Also, the Party will be inaugurating its Punjab office in Mohali on February 28. It will simultaneously hold the meeting of district in-charges of Mission Vistar, Punjab State Organizing Committee and State Executive Committee in Mohali.
