AMRITSAR SAHIB—Dharam Parchaar Committee organized a seminar in the memory of martyrs of Saka Sri Nankana Sahib at Shaheed Sikh Missionary College here. Renowned intellectuals from all over participated in this seminar. Dr. Sukhdial Singh of Punjabi University, Patiala, explained the aspects of Singh Sabha Lehar. Dr. Jaswant Singh threw light on the fruitful results of Singh Sabha Lehar, while Gurbakhsh Singh Gulshan (UK) talked about importance of education.
Additional Head Granthi of Sri Harmandir Sahib, Giani Jagtar Singh, Secretary of Dharam Parchaar S. Satbir Singh, S. Harbans Singh Ghuman, S. Ranjit Singh (Additional Secretary, Dharam Parchaar Committee) and Principal Baldev Singh of Shaheed Sikh Missionary College also addressed the sangat during seminar.
Dr. Jaswant Singh, Giani Santokh Singh Australia and S. Harbans Singh Ghuman were rewarded with the award of ‘Principal Ganga Singh’ for their services to the Sikh nation. Former Shiromani Ragi of Sri Harmandir Sahib, Bhai Balbir Singh Ji, Bhai Jaswant Singh Ji, and S. Satbir Singh were also awarded with a special reward during the seminar.
