SYANA Starts Aasraa Food Pantry in Michigan (USA)

Rochester Hill, MI, USA—The Sikh Youth Alliance of North America (SYANA), an organization located out of Rochester Hill, Michigan, started their Aasraa Food Pantry project this past week.  The primary focus of the food pantry is to feed the homeless free of charge.

During the first night of the project, SYANA sevadars managed to serve 33 people.  They stated that it was with Guru Sahib’s kirpa that the project has been initiated.  Now they are eager and looking forward to serving more every month.

“On our first night we were blessed to serve 33 people and are looking forward to serving more each month,” said the SYANA.

Sikh organizations have established similar projects across the World.  For more information on SYANA or anyone wanting to get involved, please email [email protected].
