MELBOURNE, Australia—Various Organizations of Australia jointly celebrated the birth anniversary of Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale. Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa was martyred during the Darbar Sahib invasion by the Indian army during 1984.
Sikh Federation Australia, Akhand Kirtani Jatha Australia, Khalsa Shauni, Baba Bidhi Chand Dal, Damdami Taksal, Ranjit Gatka Akhara, and other organizations jointly contributed for this function.
Baba Daljit Singh of Sikh Federation (Australia), Bhai Joga Singh of Khalsa Shauni, Bhai Gurtej Singh of Kaumi Awaz Radio and Bhai Shamsher Singh of Damdami Taksal addressed the Sikh devotees during the program. Sangat of the Akhand Kirtani Jatha from different parts of Australia also did kirtan to remember the great Sikh shaheed.
