Birth Anniversary of Sant Bhindranwale Celebrated at Nankana Sahib (Pakistan)

NANKANA SAHIB, Pakistan—Pakistan based Sikhs celebrated 68th birthday of Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale at Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, birth place of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. A Gurmat Samagam (religious congregation of Sikhs) was held to mark the day.

As per information shared by Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) member Maninder Singh, a number of Sikhs arrived here from various parts of the country to attend the function and pay tribute to the great Sikh of 20th century.

Hazuri Ragi Jathas and Sikh children performed Gurbani Kirtan on the occasion. The children also performed Dhadi wars related to Sant Bhindrwanwale.

PSGPC chief Sham Singh, general secretary Gopal Singh Chawla and other Sikh leaders addressed Sikh Sangat and put light on sacrifice of Sant Bhindranwale.
