CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Haryana Government has submitted a report in Punjab & Haryana High Court giving a clean chit to Sirsa Cult. The Government has submitted this report in response to the Court’s order to inquire about the counting of weapons in Sirsa Cult and the ongoing weapon training in the Sirsa Cult. The government has reported to the Court in favor of the Sirsa Cult.
It is notable that the violent clash between the police and devotees of Satlok Ashram while arresting Rampal raised the issue of the illegal detention of weapons by the managements of various cults. Weapons in huge count and massive explosive material were founded from the Satlok Ashram during the clash.
Haryana Government has said in its report that the Sirsa Cult was investigated completely and videography has also been done of this investigation. But during the whole investigation, nothing worth suspicion was founded in the cult. This report of Haryana Government has given some relief to the Sirsa Cult management.
It is noteworthy that this investigation was a general investigation on all cults. Sirsa Cult was not specifically targeted for this investigation. But beside this, Sirsa Cult is facing a large number of accusations in murder, rape etc. cases. Recently, the Sirsa Cult has been accused in a case of making 400 male devotees impotent.
